PRINCIPLES & PRACTICE

My design goals for a final project include the following:
1...Make an interactive sculpture of some kind.
2...Design a set of digitally fabricated, scalable / modular tools and circuits that can be used to generate this art.
3..Package these tools as a kit suitable for professional and educational applications.

INITIAL SKETCH

My initial idea is to make an animation machine with a bonus feature of being programmable with Logo programming. The idea would be to create an animation that is generated by capturing images produced by a pen plotter. The plotter would draw shapes and features based on som simple code and a camera would capture the image and manipulate them. The tools to create this project could ideally be brought into a classroom.
