What is the deadline? How much time do I have left?

The deadline for the project is on 20th June 2018. I have approximately one week left to my final presentation.

what tasks have been completed, and what tasks remain?

Tasks Completed

The below are the tasks completed soo far. Click Next to view the rest.

1. 3D printing the plant encasing
2. Designing the project board
3. Milling the board
4. Soldering the board
5. Testing continuity
6. Testing the components using arduino
7. 3D printed sprinkler

Tasks Remaining

i). Lasercutting the acrylic for the container holder.

ii). Lasercutting the electronics box.

iii). Connecting the components to the board.

iv). Programming the board.

How will I complete the remaining tasks in time?

The deadline for the project is on 20th June 2018. I have approximately one week left to my final presentation.

How will I complete the remaining tasks in time?

For the remaining tasks am going to split them on a daily basis schedule. At first am going to focus on programming the board then I follow with the rest.

what has worked? what hasn't?

So far everything is working well as mentioned above am still in the process of programming.

what questions need to be resolved?

Continuous research on how the different component are to be programmed and intergrated.

what will happen when?

The following is the schedule.

what have you learned?

a. when designing th eschematic board for your design avoid using thin tracks especially for milling because they rip off easily.

b. Its a good habit to test the components that you will be using in the circuit before intergrating them with th edesigned board to ensure you get the circuit correctly.

c. Another valuable lesson I learned is to always ensure you have all the required components available or easily accessible in the market.
