About me

Qusai Malahmeh

3D printing Specialist(FDM - SLA)

My background is in Business Administration but once I heard about the launching of the 3D Printing industry in Jordan, I felt the urge to join this new field. To get familiar with the 3D Printing World, I have worked hard gaining experience from field experts and reading books about it to learn the ins and outs of 3D Printing.
Once I got familiar with this field, I felt at home and that I finally found a job that I can turn into a career. Believing that learning has no limits or ends, I continue to develop my technical skills. Currently, I am the 3D Printing Specialist at Fablab Irbid, where I care for the machines, maintaining them and making sure that all 3D Printed Objects are up to standards. Believing in the impact of 3D Printing in the humanitarian field, I joined Doctors without Borders (MSF) in proving the concept of a 3D Printed Prosthetic Project in Jordan to support those who were affected by the Syrian Crisis. This project lead to a collaboration between Fablab Irbid & MSF to initiate a 3D Printed Prosthetic Lab. I will continue to support this project dedicating my personal time to ensure its success as I am passionate about assisting those in need and would love to advocate technology's role in the humanitarian field.
