Week 6. Testing the design rules for your printer(s) (group project), Designing and 3D printing an object that could not be made subtractively, 3D scanning an object.

Week 7. Redrawing the echo hello-world board, adding (at least) a button and LED (with current-limiting resistor), checking the design rules, and making it.

Mechanical Design and Machine Design

Week 10 & 11. Making a machine, including the end effector, build the passive parts and operate it manually. Automating the machine.

Output Devices

Week 12. Adding an output device to a microcontroller board designed earlier and programming it to do something.

Moulding and Casting

Week 13. Designing a 3D mould, machining it, and casting parts from it.
