Applications and implications

Assignment
Propose a final project that integrates the range of units covered:
Wall decoration, frame made off solid wood milled in the Shopbot. Also picture made of akrylic and thin wood, pressed and then rastered in laser. Inside will be a mic that will take in sound from room and send to led light that will change color according to sound level. Will look like sunrise/sundown or aurora.

answering:
What will it do? Change light color with different sound level.
Who's done what beforehand? Well accualy alot of people have used this consept before. Had many pages of other websides of the subject, as and a weekly project and final projest, but I do think that some of my design is all new consept.
What will you design? I will design the look of the frame in fusion, the picture (which will be wood and acryl) I used Inkscape, the electronics for the led and the mic and how to conect that together.
What materials and components will be used? Thin Wood, acryl, strong wood for the frame, mic... led... and conetions. rafhleðsla,
Where will come from? Wood department, Fab Lab, ...
How much will they cost? ???
What parts and systems will be made? the frame, picture, wall hanging, electronics plate, and soddering, well most of it.
What processes will be used? not known...
What questions need to be answered? How will I press the thin wood to the acryl in a way it will have solid gluing, what kind of conetions will i use for the frame. How will I make the mic and led plate. How will I let the mic and the led talk together.
How will it be evaluated? How will it work, mic and led. Final design on electronics and the frame, how did I make my conetions for the frame, how dose it look.

Your project should incorporate 2D and 3D design,
additive and subtractive fabrication processes,
electronics design and production,
microcontroller interfacing and programming,
system integration and packaging
Where possible, you should make rather than buy the parts of your project
Projects can be separate or joint, but need to show individual mastery of the skills, and be independently operable
