Gateway device

The gateway device will collect all data from detectors and analyse them, in case of burglary the gateway is the device which notifies the user.

Designing

For the gateway device I used the ESP8266 as the main chip because I want to send the collected data to the Internet in the future.
I started by designing the schematic.

Then I designed the PCB board, I included AAA battery on the gateway.

This is the 3D view of the board.

After that I converted to rml for the monoFab machine to be able to understand it.
I printed the board and soldered all the components on it.

Because of the time constraint I didn't design the enclosure of the gateway device.
