Concept:-

Learning from the excitement about indian street food and knowing the difficulties about not being able to enjoy it due to the prospective of hygine, hence I decided to put forward a concept for one of the most popular street food dish "Bhel" to be made in an automised way to provide an absolute hygenic solution to the consumers.


Considering the above conditions explained in the video before, I put forward a concept for a clean, hygenic and delicious indian streetfood "Bhel" and "The Bhel Maker"



Principle used:-

The method or the principle used is, a basic mechanism of an auto batch system which is mostly used to combine numerous materials in a definate and precise proportion to obtain a particular product It is mostly seen in fertiliser and pharmasuitical industry

Proposed working of the machine:-



Following list guides you through the proposed working of the machine...

  1. Initially a material of required size has to be filled into the hoppers at the top
  2. Then a program has to be selected, which directs you for a desired taste
  3. Then accodring to the program the feeders would drop the right amount of solid material into the main hopper
  4. After a particular calculated delay the hopper would open it's gate(operated by an acctuator)
  5. As soon as the gate slips out of the range of the proximity sensor on the acctuator, the motor of the mixer would start.
  6. The motor of the mixer is supposed to run for a particular delay, during which the solenoid valve would open to drop the jets of liquid spices
  7. Later after a particular delay of the above operation, the mixer would stop and open the gate below it ( again guided by an acctuator)
  8. Opening the gate would drop the Bhel into the dish placed below.



Proposed Methodology:-

1. There would be parts such as hoppers and mixers, made out of press fit jigsaws as a result of parametric design
2. All the Materials used are of food grade
3. Materials Proposed consist of Acrylic, Poly Carbonate,
4. There Would be a micro controller, to govern the process and to process the ingredients as required
5. The sensors used would be used to control the motion where there are no stepper motors
6. All the materials used above would be only till the proof of concept, the materials would be changing in final product
