Outline Future Possibilities and Describe How to Make them Probabilities

I think the cool thing about this project, with it’s place being in a classroom setting to show students what can be made, is to get students in my class to think about they can either design something to be incorporated into my modular design and design/manufacture it. Another possibility within the class is to go back to why the conveyor was designed in the first place - a Rube Goldberg machine. I’m sure students would love to design something like that.

To do so, students would learn about the digital fabrication process - how to model, how to use the devices, and then think about how they can design something to fit together and incorporate. It would be a cool project to do, similar to how our group at Dassault did it.

With this project, I think it is most useful to show what can be made in a lab. I have already have students express interest in learning how to make something like this conveyor system, given how impressive it looks!

Myself, moving forward, can continue to refine it to run even more smoothly.
