19. Invention, intellectual property and income

The RE-LEASH is a new invention, so I had to really think what I wanted to do with is. As a member of the political Pirate Party of the Netherlands, i am for a free information society. But I am not against copyright, but it must be fair. So I wanted to share but I also wanted to protect my idea of somebody else making money with it or getting patent on it. I choose for the Creative Commons liscensce, and from the Creative Commons liscence I choose for the Attribution (By) ShareAlike (SA) and NonCommercial (NC)

Creative commons licenses:

But I also choose the Fab liscence, because the Fab liscence is pretty straight forward compared with the in details written CC liscence

Fab license: (c) John Howard van der Zijden 18-06-2019. This work may be reproduced, modified, distributed, performed, and displayed for any purpose, but must acknowledge “The RE-LEASH”. Copyright is retained and must be preserved. The work is provided as is; no warranty is provided, and users accept all liability.

The next version of the RE-LEASH will have the following upgrades: - Power button (turn off battery) - Rechargeable battery via USB - WiFi connection - App controlled interface (IOT) - Bleutooth

Again I will not use the RE-LEASH as a commercial product, but as a product to enhance the wellfare of the animals.

I will start sharing this with my friends and colleagues at school. This way I can test the RE-LEASH fully and identify any bugs. If the demand for the RE-LEASH is increasing I will turn it into mass production, and sell it at the minimum cost
