Task required:

What a nervous week :s . This week we must have a clear action plan for our final projects.

The progress

In this stage, I made a list for every small task of my project. Components list is sited. The design is finished completely. Also, some components are already made such as 3D printed and laser cutting parts. Actually, I started working for the project in the input devices week. In that week I made an appropriate board to be used for the final project. In that week I used thermistor as an input which also led me to decide which kind of sensor I will use in the final project and the code in Arduino was prepared as well. Next, another step was using stepper motor in the output devices week which also will be used in my final project. Those two weeks were saved my time in the last compressed weeks before the deadline. However, there are a couple of things must be finished.

In order to finish on time, I set a plan to finish as fast as I can. The following Gantt Project Chart present my plan.

To summarize, The following questions must be answered:

What tasks have been completed, and what tasks remain?

Mechanical assembly is finished, the remaining is electrical connections

What has worked? What hasn’t?

Most of the task worked successfully, except attaching the nozzle was a bit hard because of the clearance between the tube and the inner diameter of the nozzle. Also, the display is not working and it might be damage and must change with other one.

What questions need to be resolved?

What is the sufficient heating temperature and where should be the best cooling position.

What have you learned?

I learned a lot about electronics connections and electrical wiring as a beginner in this field. Time management is important to achieve high performance. I learned that I should start working on my ideas as early as possible to have a chance for more experience and testing.
