This week I worked on defining my final project idea and started to getting used to the documentation process.

I propose you a solution to join 2 rest of filament.

It consist of joining 2 wire of the same material and melting them.

It wil be usefull for all user and it is a gain of material, because you don’t have to trow away your rest of bobine.

i don’t know if it is the right way to do it now but i will test it.

Material i used to do my machine

1) block of brass (quantity ?)

2) Sensor temperature (thermistore 100k)

3) hot cartridge (24v 60w)

4) lcd screen

5) main board (electronics)

6) traco power (5vdc/24vdc)

7) electronics components

8) 3d printer for the bench and the enclosure of my board and lcd screen

how it wil be integrated whit digital machining

1) i have to do my heater with a milling machine to be able to respect the dimention of the filament

2) electronic disign to be able to regulate the temperature

3) design my box for the electronic and lcd with a 3d printer
