Individual Assigment

Propose a final project masterpiece that integrates the range of units covered. Your project should incorporate:
- 2D and 3D design
- additive and subtractive fabrication processes
- electronics design and production
- microcontroller interfacing and programming
- system integration and packaging.
Where possible, you should make rather than buy the parts of your project



What will it do?

For my final project I will develop a diffuser that can function as a night light. It will turn off/on with a clap. However, if the user does not make any sound it will automatically turn off after 30 minutes.

Questions to be answered

- Coding
- Evaluate different libraries that couls simply the code.
- Research more about electronic design to design and develop the board.
- Test printing and Plastic parameters and fittings.

How will it be evaluated?

First the diffuser will be adjusted to the desire sensitivity of the sound sensor and light, after making sure the entire system works it will be presented to my collagues in the house and to other users outside the lab. Any adjustment will be done after been tested by different users.
