Check out Ring Oscillator page, with Arduino digitalFastRead/FastWrite (supported on the new AVRs)

you have to set to 1mhz on the attiny45 to match de timming you write on arduino i got the same issue at first, and had to time the time of the blink. When i put 8mhz clock it lasted 8 seconds despite i wrote a delay of 1000 miliseconds

with util/delay, sometimes clock needs to be defined very specifically for it to work right Sergio FabLab Leon to Everyone (9:39 AM) dont know why bumping up the clock slows the time. it’s contra intuitive for me. when you bump up the clock it should read instructions faster

For me the problem on the Attiny45 was the CLKPR – Clock Prescale Register it was set to divide the clock by 8, change to 1 fix the issue.

air dryable “clay” which would be safe
