Individual Assignment

1) Propose a final project masterpiece that integrates the range of units covered,
answering:
What will it do?
Who's done what beforehand?
What will you design?
What materials and components will be used?
Where will come from?
How much will they cost?
What parts and systems will be made?
What processes will be used?
What questions need to be answered?
How will it be evaluated?
Your project should incorporate 2D and 3D design,
additive and subtractive fabrication processes,
electronics design and production,
embedded microcontroller interfacing and programming,
system integration and packaging
Where possible, you should make rather than buy
the parts of your project
Projects can be separate or joint, but need to show individual
mastery of the skills, and be independently operable 

Introduction

Our Lab is closed and will remain closed until further notice due to covid issues.This week we will be documenting about the final project. Its function, parts, cost, process involved.

The Main propose is to built a functional number representing tool which tells tome and connects over a app. and it uses rack and pinion mechanism to move around the numbers.

What will it do?
it will show numbers.by movement of slides and through a app and support of google assist.

Who's done what beforehand? 
Many of clock designs are available and i could take reference of project that uses 4 steeper motor and esp32.

What will you design?
Main Part is the liner slide and how to couple the rack and pinion through it.

What materials and components will be used?
Mainly 3d printed parts
bruch wood for engraving numbers.
Esp32(supporting circuits )
4 * a4988  stepper driver
4 *Unipolar Stepper Motor Step 7 Volt DC-350 mA 7.5 Step Angle 680 G-CM

Where will come from and cost? 
Most of them where available  in lab i brought a4988 stpper driver from Robu.in for 95 RS.

Does it move?(iterating rack and pinion)
