SAFETY FIRST SHAVED

I would like to call this picture SAFETY FIRST. I knew I was going to be using the CNC that morning so I shaved my face

Cleaning and doing the maintenance to the machine.

I already know this machine for some years. I remember it had a problem with the z axis. It was that on a certain amount of working hours it used to stop. I guessed it was due to a soft conexion but I was not able to repair it. I ask for help and an engineering student came with a new connetor taken from the Formula Student car. Problem solved. He had to work with it. I had no idea how to connect the cables. I paid a lot of attention.

Prototipe.

At this point I realized that if I kept the seat piece just to hold the butocks without the bent part I could do two pieces with the three board I had. It would be also easier to solve the chair without the kerf part, in fact it is something I do control from previous years even I am not showing it.

COLOCAR IMAGEN

Strategy

I set the parameter to use a tool of 5.7 mm. To cut a depth of 30 mm I was doing steph with a depth of 5 millimeters at a feed speed of 400 mm/minute. The tool I was using had two flutes. RECUPERAR PANTALLAZO RUTINAS pc trabajo.

Machining the pieces.

The only problem I had was at this point when I realized I had forgotten ro remove little pieces of the joints of the horizontal bars that hold the legs. I could easily solve it using a chisel. Time to build up.

And it is being used nowadays!! I decided to use some screws to fix the pieces in places since it has started to be used a lot. I want it to last as long as posible.

Previous experience

I had produced many works with the 3 axis cnc. The week I got explained how to work with it in 2d I produced a two faces milling piece with different materials.

Recently I have also produced work for an artist while I was working for Controlmad. If your know what cnc is you will apreciate the work you see in the pictures. Final tolerances of +-0.3 mm for an artwork of 150 x 50 cm.
