About Me

My name is Kevin Elkhoury I'm a senior a Wheaton College pursuing a Chemistry and Bioinformatics Double Major with a Minor in Statistics, and am member of the imagine team here at Wheaton working in the Makerspace and Machine shop. This semester in addition to taking this course I am writing my thesis on the possibel effects of transposable elements on Fundulus heteroclitus

I have been using Fusion 360 and have been involved in the Makerspace and Machine shop for a year now having previously used the hydraulic press in the shop in combination with the lathe to produce salt lenses to be used with the IT spec an analytical tool often used in chemistry to identify compounds. I often use Fusion 360 to design compoents for around the house, and am now working on making a housing for an electronics project I have been working on.

For fun else than tinker with electronics and CAD, I play a variety of other games. I am a fan of League of Legends and try to squeeze in a few games a week when I have time, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and Magic the Gathering. I addition I recently have gotten into playing chess, I am still new, but slowly climbing my way up.

I am very excited to be in this course, and enthusiastic to learn more about electronics and digital fabrication!
