3D MODELING PLAYING
This week, I spent a lot of time playing with Libfive -- another solid modeling software by Matthew Keeter -- whose performance is much better than Atimony. But I have encountered some problems while installing it on my macbook. Details can be found in this issue site. I created a bear mock-up model and a cube net according to this week's assignment requirement.
DESIGN
According to a Youtube video, I designed a 3D DNA ring model in grasshopper. All the related files can be found at the bottom of this page.
PRINTING
I used B9Creator to print my 3D ring model. All the important procedure and final production can be seen as below. You should notice that I've made some adjustments and the file can be also reached at the file seciton at the bottom of this page.
