About me

I am a biologist and eccentric that prefers working on unconventional and unknown ideas over tried and tested ones. Bachelors in Engineering Biotechnology from Manipal Institute of Technology. Work experience in areas ranging from beer brewing, downstream processing of menthol and the production of biofuel from micro-algae. Engineering and entrepreneurship along with free-markets can solve some of the biggest environmental and social challenges we face today.

My Project Idea

There are many projects that I would like to work on, but the one that has been selected for the Fab Academy is the very first Engineering Project that I was tasked with on joining a Makerspace; Automated Barley Water Dispenser

The first and foremost principle, that I work by is to K.I.S.S. and while my Achilles’ heel lies in the coding and software interface, this will surely improve as I go along and relearn the language and go through with the project

To recap

  • Always “Keep It Simple Stupid”
  • Thinking leads to Over-thinking
  • Coding is simple and yet coomplex
  • Practice, practice, practice
  • Kaizen
