Hi! I am Rajat Ratewal. I am an IT professional with over 13+ years of experience and presently working in an investment bank as Big Data Cloud Solution Architect & Software Engineer. I am based out of India (New Delhi) and yes you are right i have zero experience on any hardware CAD, electronics and any of the fancy fablab machines.

Why I Joined Fab Academy Course, Common Question asked to me Am i out of my Mind ?

It’s interesting because couple of months back i was not even aware about fab academy and now i am one of the student for which i have even taken part time option from my work for 6 months.

Real reason why i have joined fab academy is because I was banging my head around in October 2018 trying to find permanent solution to eradicate homelessness issue from this planet. So i was looking for a place to collobrate with various NGO’s where they can come together and build innovative solutions. So a google search led me to Fab Lab :) and when i watched 2018 videos from Neil on digital fabrication, i knew that i had to give it a shot.

So here i am, now my instructors have already tried to scare me enough but they are not successful so far lol :) and i ended up joining 2019 batch.
